Atomic Learning (Video Instruction on the Web)

There is tons of software instruction videos, for example: Garage Band, Photoshop, PowerPoint, etc. You also have the option of looking up information by platform.

Easter eggs!! Not the hardboiled, painted-on kind, but the kind programmers place in software. They are neat features.

GarageBand lets you write music by using an onscreen keyboard or built-in audio tracks. You can also take a piece you wrote in Garage Band and export it to your iTunes folder, and (we assume) download it onto your iPod.
Lots of great 411 about the web today! Excellent websites for the kids to work with. Cannot wait to use them with my 1st graders! I really liked learning about all of the functions of google-
The directory had a ton of helpful resources.

I also learned how to narrow my search when looking for information! Thanks Lynne

We made it! We have learned about bits and bytes (and then we had a "bite" of lunch). Webquests could certainly be used in all of our classrooms. It is nice to know that other teachers have designed lessons that we can use to make our lives easier. Some of us still have doubts about Wikipedia and the validity of the information found there. Binary (0's and 1's) and the ASCII code were a mystery until today. Thanks for helping us with this.
